Mountain No Mountain takes its name from a way of thinking about perception. First someone points out a mountain to you, and you learn that it is a mountain. Then you start to question what a mountain actually is. Then you come to understand that mountains are everywhere. The work grows out of walking. Each time I arrive somewhere new, I walk it, record it, then take the fragments apart and put them back together until the place turns into something else.
